IPL 2018: Kane Williamson credits 'outstanding' Hyderabad bowlers after win

Rain stopped play between Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) and Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) in an Indian Premier League (IPL) game here at the Eden Gardens on Saturday. Thereafter, captain Kane Williamson and Shakib-al Hasan scripted a 59-run stand for the fourth wicket that helped complete the job for the Sunrisers Hyderabad.

Pandey took two outstanding catches to send Nitish Rana (18; 16b 2x4 1x6) and Andre Russell (9; 5b 0x4 1x6) - back in the hut as SRH bowlers took control after a rain-induced halt when KKR were going steady at 52/1. He hit seven boundaries and a six in his 49 from just 34 balls, taking to countryman Billy Stanlake and Bhuvneshwar Kumar - those two combining for five wickets - and showcasing his brutish ability.

After much success opening the innings, KKR made a decision to drop Narine down the order, according to head coach Jacques Kallis, to get quick runs in the middle overs.

SRH has managed to snatch 3 players - Manish Pandey, Yusuf Pathan, and Shakib Al-Hasan from KKR this season.

KKR captain Dinesh Karthik was not happy with his batsman.
