Since Mariah Carey opened up about her diagnosis and private battle with bipolar disorder in an intimate interview with People Magazine, she has received nothing but praise from fans and fellow colleagues in the music industry.

Mariah suffers from bipolar II disorder, which is characterised by bouts of depression and hypomania, and she now takes medication and has regular therapy sessions to manage her mental health.

Mariah Carey's former manager Stella Stolper is suing the "Infinity" singer and claims Carey violated "the U.S. Civil Rights Act, a Violation of the Fair Employment and Housing Act" and breached an existing contract.

According to TMZ, Stolper said Carey, 48, was "constantly naked in front of her".

When the manager and musician went their separate ways past year, they released a joint statement that said it was no longer "in their mutual best interest" to continue their partnership, but that they would "continue to support each other" in numerous endeavours.
