The snowflakes are forecast to keep flying today, the National Weather Service said.
The NWS office in Negaunee Township as of this morning only had one reading reported from the Dickinson-Iron county area - 9 inches of snow just north of Iron Mountain. After this, long range models show mild temperatures and dry weather sticking around into next week. One place to keep an eye on will be areas around Flathead Lake, where winds this afternoon could gust around 40-45 miles per hour making way for very choppy lake conditions this afternoon.
Snow showers that are passing through the region this morning shouldn't add up to much in the accumulation department, but with temperatures largely in the 20s this morning, some icy areas are possible where snow is a bit more persistent and in any places wet roads from Monday have frozen over.
The snowfall is expected to end in the afternoon, but not before up to four centimetres falls.Читайте также: Tax Day 2018 deals
