Tiger Woods Makes Decision On When He'll Play Next

Report: Woods commits to next week's Wells Fargo Championship, first start since Masters

Tiger Woods is teeing it up in Charlotte.

"Break over time to get back to work", Woods posted on his Twitter site in announcing his next two starts, the Wells Fargo Championship next week and The Players. He's also now No. 12 in strokes gained overall on the entire PGA Tour.

"Obviously we are excited to have Tiger coming back to compete in our tournament but to also have him healthy and competing on the PGA Tour this year", tournament director Gary Sobba said in a statement. The course will call for plenty of drivers which will at least give Woods some tournament practice with that club that has been wayward for him, most of the season.

Since returning from a fourth back surgery, he has missed only one cut in the six tournaments he has played.
