Police have descended on a shopping mall in Nashville, Tennessee, after reports of an active shooter. Initial reports from the scene said a female patient. The shooting appears to have started as a dispute, police said.
Police are blocking traffic from entering the mall area.
Opry Mills announced on Facebook that it would be closed on Thursday evening.
Police in Nashville said that the mall shooting began as the result of an "ongoing dispute" between two males.
A statement from the Metropolitan Nashville Police Department says the suspected shooter is now in custody.
"No other gun shot victims reported", the Nashville Fire Department said. However, WZTV wrote that police are now searching for a suspect.
In a previous tweet, police said a suspect was in custody and there was "no additional imminent threat known".

The Gaylord Opryland Hotel, was placed on lockdown when the shooting occurred, but it has since been lifted.
