Vodafone has just launched a Rs 349 prepaid recharge plan for its customers to take on Reliance Jio and its closest rival Airtel in the country. The revised Rs. 349 plan from Vodafone also includes unlimited local, STD and roaming calls. Airtel also recently launched Rs 499 plan where it offers 2 GB 3G/4G per day for 82 days with same voice calling and SMS benefits.
Under the latest plan, Vodafone is also offering unlimited local/STD and roaming calls to any network in India and 100 SMS daily along with the data offer.
Bharath Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL), a state-run Telecom Service has launched a new voice and data pack for prepaid mobile users. Previously, the plan only offered 2.5GB data per day. We would like to mention, BSNL now offers 4G service in limited circles only. The plan is also valid for 28 days.

Apart from this, BSNL has also introduced three new recharge packs (Rs 118, Rs 379 and Rs 551) for prepaid customers providing somewhat similar offers like its peers. The new Rs 349 prepaid plan comes with a validity of 54 days and offers 1GB of data per day along with unlimited voice calls. However, it is not the only telco offering 3GB 4G data to its users. It is now available in Assam, Mumbai, Gujarat, Karnataka, Kerala, Rajasthan, and Uttar Pradesh West/East circles. However, the Rs. 569 pack offers validity of 84 days, while the Rs. 349 recharge remains valid for 28 days.
However, post revision, Vodafone prepaid customers doing a recharge of ₹349 are now offered 3 GB of 3G/4G data per day for 28 days which translates to a total of 84 GB of data for the validity period - a total increase of 14 GB of data. However, calls to Delhi and Mumbai are not included in this plan.
Talking about Vodafone's 2GB per day validity plan, the service provider also rolled out Rs 511 pack with a validity period of 84 days. The new plan is essentially a revamped version of the Rs. 348 plan with 500MB more data per day.
