West Ham boss David Moyes wants to enjoy the club's final two games of the season

Manchester United "don't celebrate second position", says manager Jose Mourinho after his side sealed the Premier League runners-up spot with a 0-0 draw at West Ham.

In a tiresome game with few quality chances, United defender Luke Shaw came closest to scoring when he had a shot turned onto the post in the first half.

"Every time a Manchester United player misses a chance they always run back and look at Mourinho in the dugout - they look petrified", he said on Sky Sports' The Debate.

But they've finished second to, statistically, the best Premier League side ever and - aside from a poor Champions League exit at the hands of Sevilla and a shock League Cup defeat to Bristol City - they couldn't have expected any more from this season. I worked with the players for a couple of years.

There was a more subdued atmosphere from the home fans at the end of another deeply frustrating campaign for the Hammers.

Despite West Ham's attempts to generate an atmosphere at the London Stadium for this fixture - by adding huge concourse motifs of their former captains and record breakers - there were a large number of empty seats.

West Ham successfully avoided relegation with two games to go, yet there have been repeat incidents of fans protesting at the club's position in the table. We tried to organise the team to get that point but to give opportunities to players to play.

New contract for David Moyes?

Hamilton pips Bottas to top Spanish GP third practice
Bottas is fourth in the Driver's Championship on forty points, some thirty points behind team-mate (and current leader) Hamilton. He finished down in fourth, however, almost half a second off pole and three tenths behind team-mate Vettel.

Unfortunately, Nunes wasn't able to do much with the position and referee Marc Goddard was forced to stand them back up again. Before the decisive round, Pennington was heard saying "I'm done", but her coach insisted she should return to the bout.

Gennaro Gattuso distances himself from decision about Gianluigi Donnarumma's future
AC Milan was outwitted in the final by Juventus who mauled the Rossoneri 4-0 with Donnarumma culpable for two of the goals. Kalinic scored an own goal after 76 minutes.

Only against Newcastle (15) has Wayne Rooney scored more Premier League goals than he has against West Ham (14) - including a hat-trick against the Hammers in November.

Jesse Lingard was first to be denied with a fiercely struck long-range effort before Adrian showed quick reflexes to save from Alexis Sanchez and then get back on his feet to turn Shaw's effort onto the post.

The tiresome encounter flared up in the closing stages as West Ham captain Mark Noble clashed with Paul Pogba - the pair arguably lucky to only walk away with yellow cards.

Arsene Wenger predicts a European super league will be introduced over the next few years, leading to major changes for the Premier League.

"I am not so sad as I normally am when my players end their career because he's going to be with us".

"A domestic league will certainly play Tuesday/Wednesday".

"I was very far from it and when I saw the reaction of the players [at full-time] I believe it was nothing extraordinary".

The club never had any birthright to win the league and that was even when they had the greatest manager this country has ever seen in charge.
