Rage 2 will feature a seamless open-world that you can traverse using the various vehicles you can find in game. Next stop: Sunday, June 10 at 6:30 pm Pacific, when RAGE 2 will blow the roof off Bethesda's #BE3 showcase with a new gameplay reveal and much more. The impressive art style and updated visuals definitely seem to be a step up from its predecessor.
As for the story, you'll be playing as Walker, the last Ranger of Vineland, who was born into a world thrown into chaos following an asteroid strike.
Rage 2 is still set on the ruined and wild remains of Earth and in the time since the original game humanity's numbers continue to dwindle while the bloodthirsty gangs still roam the wastes. Filling the dusty boots of Walker-"the last Ranger of the wasteland"-you've lost your home to The Authority, an autocratic gang who rule with an iron fist". The main character, Walker, is on a revenge quest to hunt down the men that left him for dead.

US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo promises North Korea 'prosperous' future
And, more than two decades and multiple provocative weapons tests after the last accord, the threat from Pyongyang has only grown. Pompeo made the remarks at a joint news conference with South Korean Foreign Minister Kang Kyung-wha in Washington on Friday.
One aspect of Rage 2 that (amazingly) hasn't leaked is the release date.
The trailer promises that Rage 2 will have an open world for players to explore and "insane action". One other really interesting thing about RAGE 2 is its vehicle selection: according to the company's press release, if you see it you can drive it (and consequently use it as an implement of total havoc). There's also mention of an ability called Overdrive, which allegedly lets you "push your guns beyond their mechanical limits", whatever that might mean. Chain these abilities together to make Walker a powerhouse of destruction, quickly refilling his Overdrive meter. After seeing said gameplay, this is the Mad Max game we've been waiting for.
Update: Turns out we didn't have to wait for E3 or even tomorrow.
The first "Rage" released in October 2011 on PC, PlayStation 3, and Xbox 360.
