Netflix Orders Horror Anthology Series Guillermo del Toro Presents 10 After Midnight

Guillermo del Toro Horror Anthology Series '10 After Midnight' Ordered By Netflix

Del Toro will helm a horror series for Netflix

The live-action series, titled 10 After Midnight, is described by Netflix as "a collection of personally curated stories that are both equally sophisticated and horrific". This project will be the first horror series in the history of Netflix. I suspect this will be pitched at a slightly older audience, though. Additionally, Black Mirror has shown that people love getting horror anthologies from Netflix, and so hopefully that audience will carry over.

Guillermo Del Toro is one of the most singular talents in filmmaking today, a man who understands that the word "haunt" means more than just scaring you-it can be something sadder, something lovelier, and something more profound than mere fright. The third season of Trollhunters will premiere on May 25, 2018.

Having already earned Netflix a multitude of Daytime Emmy Awards for the Dreamworks animated fantasy series, Trollhunters, two-time Academy Award victor, Guillermo del Toro, is making the transition to live-action.

Warm weather, good set-up gave me the win - Hamilton
If not off to Ferrari in 2019, Haas might be eager to have the young star in their vehicle instead of an underperforming Grosjean. We were just not quick enough and even at the end I was not in a healthy shape with the tires even though mine were the freshest.

Wenger regrets not signing ex-Man United star for Arsenal
Petr Cech has warned Arsenal that "continuity is rare" as the club prepares to enter the unknown in the wake of Arsene Wenger's departure.

Guillermo del Toro is the writer and director of the Academy Award-winning film The Shape of Water, which earned four Academy Awards, including Best Picture, Best Director, Best Original Score and Best Production Design. Del Toro is, by now, a film establishment all of his own - though it should be remembered that Hitch was the master of suspense, while del Toro's genre is decidedly horror. He also co-created the FX series The Strain, which ended past year after four seasons.

Guillermo del Toro is an established horror enthusiast who has frightened audiences with past projects, such as Crimson Peak, The Devil's Backbone and Pan's Labyrinth.
