Many are anxious about first lady Melania Trump, who reportedly hasn't been seen in public since before her emergency kidney operation earlier this month.

The conspiracy theory seemed to dovetail with the ever-present rumors that Melania Trump was planning to leave her husband and initiate a divorce.

Those close to Mrs Trump told Politico that she is behind the decision to reveal so little information about her absence from the spotlight. Some doctors familiar with the procedure but not involved in her care said people treated with embolization typically are sent home the same day or the next.
