Trump to apologize for the frightful statements made and said about me on ABC". In the tweet, Barr wrote: "Muslim brotherhood & planet of the apes had a baby=vj". O'Donnell did, writing, "her racist comment was childish and beneath her best self", on Twitter on Tuesday.
Just one day after chastising them on Twitter, Roseanne Barr is forgiving former co-stars Sara Gilbert and Michael Fishman for their public response to the show's cancellation. While asking not to be defended, she retweeted comments from supporters that attacked ABC and complained that conservatives are treated more harshly than liberals for their behavior. The Oscar-winning documentarian shared a video on his Facebook and Twitter profiles showing him as a guest alongside Trump on The Roseanne Show, a short-lived talk show from the late 90s. ABC News is a division of the Disney Co. "I feel devastated, not for the end of the Roseanne show, but for all those who poured their hearts and souls into our jobs, and the audience that welcomed us into their homes", Fishman wrote in a statement posted to Twitter. She said of the Jarrett tweet, "It was 2 in the morning and I was ambien tweeting". Yes, they knew the show would be a ratings blockbuster as Barr was always a lighting rod for controversy, but did they think beyond that?
