The official EA Play 2018 live stream will be kicking off very soon. The event will commence with a press conference at 11:00 PM PT / 2:00 PM ET on Saturday, June 9th, where the publisher will show off all of the games it has in store for the coming months.
Anthem is a game with plenty to prove as its the first from Mass Effect and Dragon Age studio Bioware since the critical flop of Mass Effect: Andromeda and a restructuring of the developer's Montreal studio in 2017, but its flashy showing at EA's briefing was a step in the right direction.
Thanks to its strong focus on story, Bioware promised they wanted to keep this a world the players are invested in for years to come. With the lack of reveals that weren't expected, other than the new Star Wars game - which didn't even include an actual reveal - and the Clone Wars expansion for Star Wars Battlefront II, the rest was all sort of just. meh.
When it comes to new details being shared during EA Play, fans are hoping for a few things. You are on a world where the "old gods" left behind their weapons. They also debuted a number of visual Javelin customization options, noting that vanity items, but no gameplay altering items, will be available for purchase as non-loot box micro-transactions. There is no PvP mode and you can play the entire game by yourself, which should please those who get annoyed by Destiny's locked off content. Mark Darrah also seemed to hint that a public beta will occur.
What time, channel is Golden State Warriors vs
Kevin Durant scored 20 points and had 12 rebounds and 10 assists, receiving his second NBA Finals MVP in as many seasons. Smith ran down the clock rather than attempt a game-winning shot as time expired.
Apple announces iOS 12 with app updates and performance improvements
Other new features include parental controls to limit the time children spend in apps, as well as which apps they can use. The "Downtime" panel will also let consumers block off time where phone calls and only certain apps will be accessible.
Origin Access Premier subscription tier announced
It all sounds very similar to Microsoft's Xbox Game Pass , which offers access to many of that consoles' titles for $9.99/month. New subscribers who aren't now a member of an Origin Access plan will be able to get a seven day trial.
The game looks to feature four separate classes, Ranger, Colossus, Interceptor, and Storm, which are represented by the Javelin exosuits you can choose from.
Expect EA to go hard on Anthem during their presentation this year, most likely with a lengthy demo. It sounds like more Javelins will be added post launch.
