In another milestone for American Duchess Meghan Markle, the newest member of the royal family has made her first appearance alongside Prince Harry to celebrate Queen Elizabeth's official birthday at Trooping the Colour. The Duchess of Cambridge, the former Kate Middleton who is married to Harry's older brother Prince William, wore a dress by Alexander McQueen and a hat by Juliette Botterill.
The royal family gathered on the balcony of Buckingham Palace for the annual Trooping the Colour parade. Also on the balcony were the Queen's great-granddaughters, Savannah and Isla Phillips who are the daughters of Peter and Autumn Phillips.
Meghan Markle is still breaking protocol despite her newly minted royal status.
Meghan's premiere week continues on Jun. 14, when she and the Queen will travel to Cheshire for a series of royal events.
Write Royalty, analysing details from the Court Circular, the official diary of the royal family, said the queen had conducted 125 engagements from January to the end of May.
Fans couldn't take their eyes off the 7-year-old, who amazingly deadpanned to the camera as she silenced Prince George with her hand over his mouth.

The Trooping of the Colour also marks Prince Harry and Meghan's first public outing since they appeared at Prince Charles' early birthday celebration at Buckingham Palace only three days after exchanging vows at St. George's Chapel in Windsor.
