Trump Attacks Trudeau, Macron, Allies Ahead of G7 Summit: 'Won't Be Talking About the Russian Witch Hunt Hoax for a While'

"Prime Minister Trudeau is being so indignant, bringing up the relationship that the USA and Canada had over the many years and all sorts of other things.but he doesn't bring up the fact that they charge us up to 300 percent on dairy - hurting our Farmers, killing our Agriculture!"

The United States on Saturday signed a G-7 declaration calling for a reduction of tariffs and other barriers to trade, though President Donald Trump continued to lash out at traditionally close allies for allegedly treating unfairly on trade.

While at the Summit in Quebec, Canada, Trump blasted the foreign leaders who were there with him as they jointly were supposed to come up with new solutions and possibilities for trade.

"Fair trade is now to be called fool trade if it is not reciprocal", said Trump, ahead of his summit with North Korean leader Kim Jong Un.

"He held a press conference and he said the U.S.is insulting".

"In a matter of seconds, you can destroy trust with 280 Twitter characters", German Foreign Minister Heiko Maas said when asked about Mr Trump's U-turn, adding it would take much longer to rebuild lost trust.

Canadian Foreign Minister Chrystia Freeland had responded to the White House comments by saying that Canada will retaliate to U.S. tariffs in a measured and reciprocal way and that Canada will always be willing to talk.

"[Trudeau] really kind of stabbed us in the back", Kudlow said. "Trudeau stuck our President in the back".

"Kim must not see American weakness", Kudlow said.

The world leaders made it clear they disagreed with Trump's decision to impose higher import taxes on aluminium and steel imports from the EU, Canada and Mexico.

Trudeau said he had reiterated to Trump, who left the G-7 meeting before it ended, that tariffs would harm industries and workers on both sides of the U.S.

Trump fired back after Trudeau's press conference, blasting the Canadian leader on Twitter as "very dishonest and weak".

The meeting, which is taking place in Quebec, has had a six-plus-one tone from the start and the seven countries Canada, Britain, the US, France, Germany, Italy and Japan will most likely not be issuing a joint statement as they could not reach a consensus on trade.

The calamitous summit ended in disarray after Trump broadsided his allies by disavowing a joint statement the U.S. had agreed to. And add to that the fact that the USA pays close to the entire cost of NATO-protecting many of these same countries that rip us off on Trade (they pay only a fraction of the cost-and laugh!).

Kudlow's and Navarro's comments come on the heels of a tense G7 summit that left relations with US allies even more fractured than before.
