After an impressive showing at Electronic Arts' E3 2018 press conference yesterday, one of the biggest upcoming games on everyone's mind is Anthem, the new original IP from Mass Effect and Dragon Age developer BioWare. It will be available on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC on February 22, 2019.
Speaking of Battlefield V, EA already shared the reveal trailer for the World War II game last month, along with details about how the latest entry in the franchise will differ from previous Battlefields.
The new production is a multiplayer cooperative adventure with elements of action and RPG, which stands out for its graphics, but which also immerses the players in the universe of science fiction.
Anthem finally got its moment in the spotlight today, and while there was lots of buzz words being thrown around, we did see some gameplay and learn the game is releasing on 22nd February 2019.
Anthem is promising the ability to not only cosmetically personalize the "Freelancer" pilot you play as, but also the Javelin that you fly around the world in.
The highlight of the show came from Bioware's Anthem. Before opening the event to fans and media alike for the next three days, the publisher hosted a conference to showcase some of their most noteworthy titles like Anthem, Unravel Two, and Battlefield V.
The New Command and Conquer
EA announced the new mobile title alongside Anthem and a battle royale mode for Battlefield V at the EA Play event in Los Angeles. Although the game is not available for download yet, Android players are able to register to play the game in early access.

E3 2018: EA Announces Sea Of Solitude With A Haunting Trailer
You can read a bit more about Sea of Solitude below. "Now only monsters can change her back", the description of the game reads. When humans turn into monsters as they experience loneliness is what happens to Kay, the main protagonist of the game.
In terms of combat it all looks really solid, with four classes of Javelin (those being the mecha-suits) to choose from - all allowing for different styles of play. In the game you play as a young woman who's loneliness has turned her into a monster and her quest leads her to find out why she has become such a monster, and how she can once again become human.
Bioware seem committed to supporting Anthem over a number of years with new missions and story content. Despite this, every fight between the four players and an enemy group felt like a well-choreographed battle sequence straight out of a Star Wars movie or something.
Here's a look at the biggest reveals from EA's presser.
He also stressed how seamless the experience will be in order to best accommodate players aren't used to co-op experiences: "We want the experience of playing co-op to be as seamless as possible".
One of the most charming and sweet characters and settings in games is back, as Yarny the little creature made of string returns. The game will be released on August 10th 2018. Furthermore, the game will require an always-online connection in order to be played. One of these titles is going to lose out, and while we personally think they've both got their own unique identity problems, you wouldn't bet against EA with its chequebook out.
So outside of the release date, what else do we know?
