A front will push into western Kansas Monday, shifting winds around to the north, blowing "cooler", less humid, air into that part of our state while the east stays hot and humid for one more day. There will be a 50% chance through the day with the possibility of a thunderstorm but as of now we are not expecting those to go severe.
West Michigan will have a break overnight from rain showers, but will see them linger into early portions of Sunday morning for some.
Wednesday will be partly sunny with a high near 84 and a low around 63 and a 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms.
Hurricane Bud forms in Pacific west of Mexico
The latest public forecast showed Bud moving in a northwestern direction at around 7 miles per hour. At its strongest, Bud should be a 115-mph Category 3 storm, the National Hurricane Center said.

EXTENDED: The slight storm chance continues into Sunday with possible morning rain and only an isolated afternoon storm chance. Gusty winds, hail, vivid lightning and very heavy rain are the main threats. Temperatures will only be in the upper 70s and lower 80s. Showers and storms will be a little more widespread again today. Skies will be mostly sunny as well. We will not be completely rain free, but more of us than not should be able to get out and get some outdoor chores taken care of. Highs will be in the mid 80's with lows in the mid 60's.
Highs may make a run at 90 by Saturday.
