Randle is headed to New Orleans.

Julius Randle's Los Angeles Lakers career is over after four seasons.

Sources told ESPN that Randle requested that the Lakers renounce him, sparing him what he believed would be a reduced role in a return to the team.

A day after its bombshell signing of LeBron James, Los Angeles agreed to a one-year deal with Rajon Rondo, ESPN reported on Tuesday (AEST). Once the Lakers began signing Lance Stephenson and JaVale McGee on Sunday night, Randle saw the writing on the wall in Los Angeles.

Rajon Rondo will be wearing Forum blue and gold.

By adding Rondo, the Lakers got a skilled ball handler and great defender who is not known as a great perimeter shooter.

Supreme Court nomination has become a campaign issue
Republicans hold a narrow 51-49 majority in the Senate, and it's even closer because of the absence of ailing Sen. "I want to be clear that a vote for any of the proposed nominees on Trump's list is a vote to overturn Roe v.

U.S. media: Trump threatens to withdraw from WTO
Should Trump announce a withdrawal at some point in the future, it would cast doubts over trillions of dollars of global trade. It would totally [screw] us as a country", Axios quoted one source who's discussed the subject with Trump as saying.

Organisers Make Move To Ban Chris Froome From The Tour De France
ASO have exercised their right to block the entry of any participant they feel could damage the reputation of the Tour de France . The Briton, a four-time Tour de France champion, has continued to compete and won this year's Giro d'Italia.

Rondo, 32, was a member of the Celtics team that won the National Basketball Association championship in 2007-08, beating the Lakers in six games in the Finals.

The 32-year-old most recently played for the New Orleans Pelicans and has proven to been one of the best passing point guards of his generation. The Lakers did not reach the playoffs during his four seasons.

Rondo's contract is reportedly worth $9 million, per Marc J. Spears of ESPN. A LeBron-Boogie duo on the Lakers would surely be fun to watch.

Randle is coming off a breakout year with the Lakers in which he went from a disgruntled player benched by head coach Luke Walton to starter and arguably the team's most valuable player during the 2017-18 campaign.

Despite his development on offense, Randle started only 49 games while averaging 26.7 minutes.

It's unclear what the market is like for Randle, who starred collegiately at Kentucky. Brandon Ingram, 20, is now the longest-tenured Lakers player, having played a grand total of 138 games over two seasons since he was drafted out of Duke in 2016.
