The video features old footage of the 45th President of the United States in which he says: "This third-grade character named Sacha Baron Cohen, I only wish that he would've been punched in the face so many times. You don't know shit", Trump continues.
The caustic snippets in the video refer back to an incident in 2012, when Cohen crashed the Oscars as part of the promotion for his movie The Dictator, and dumped "ashes" onto E!'s Ryan Seacrest on the red carpet. "Is that a long time for an Ali G interview?" In fact, Cohen later explained, Trump actually didn't catch on to the joke for seven whole minutes. While Cohen hasn't explicitly said anything about his willingness to cooperate, Trump has shown some distance from Cohen, specifying last month that Cohen was no longer his personal attorney.
Baron Cohen took another shot at Trump in his 2016 action-comedy Grimsby, which featured a subplot in which Trump becomes infected with HIV after Daniel Radcliffe's blood is sprayed into his mouth from a gunshot.
