The real question on everybody's mind has been whether the after-credits scenes connect Ant-Man and the Wasp with Avengers: Infinity War.
Did you spot [SPOILER]'s cameo in Ant-Man and the Wasp? That's a lot of action for a single sequel, and critics say Ant-Man and the Wasp definitely doesn't lack moving parts, but director Peyton Reed manages to wrangle them all into a fun, amusing pause between senses-shattering rounds of the war with Thanos.
Cape Town - The much anticipated sequel of Ant-Man is finally in cinemas this weekend.
However, his time in the Quantum Realm has unknowingly provided a way for Dr Hank Pym (Michael Douglas) and his daughter Hope Van Dyne/The Wasp (Evangeline Lilly) to finally rescue Janet Van Dyne (Michelle Pfeiffer) from the Quantum Realm.

Ant-Man & The Wasp is now in theaters, and of course it has two post-credits scenes (I guess we should lean into calling them stingers this time around, right?).
That first post-credits scene is definitely worth sticking around for. Just when Scott uses Hank's "Quantum Tunnel" to re-enter the microverse, he's stranded there by the fact that the "Battle of Wakanda" and Thanos' genocidal finger snap with the Infinity Gauntlet is occurring at the exact same time! Last we see, Scott is lost in the darkness, still calling out for help.
Thanos' face can be seen smiling in the clouds of the Quantum Realm behind him. But once you get past the first round of credits, the movie ties into Avengers 4 in a fairly big way. The window into the chaos and shock is a small one, as the scene instead opts for a humorous ending, showing that the giant ant trained to mimic Scott Lang's daily routine under house arrest, is still dutifully carrying out its task.
Director Peyton Reed returns to the helm and has produced one of the funniest films in the MCU, rivalling both Thor: Ragnarok and Guardians of the Galaxy when it comes to laughing out loud moments. Obviously, part of Avengers 4 is going to have to deal with Scott either getting out of or going further into the Quantum Realm.
