Microsoft has officially launched the most affordable (by Microsoft) 2-in-1 notebook aka Microsoft Surface Go in the United States of America to compete against the likes of the Apple's 6th Gen iPad with Apple Pencil support.
Microsoft release a $499 Surface 3 tablet in 2015, but discontinued the product in 2016.
The technology bellwether on Tuesday announced the Surface Go, a toned-down version of its signature mobile computing line, yet promises not to compromise on power and performance. Until then, here's everything we know about it. So far, Microsoft hasn't disclosed details pertaining to screen and weight but they'll appear online in due time once pre-orders open up.
The Surface Go becomes available for preorder starting July 10 and ships this August. The most affordable model comes in at £379 ($399 in the US), and there's also a more expensive version at £510 ($549), which comes with more RAM and storage.
How does it compare with the Surface Pro?

The Surface Go is comparable in nearly every way and looks near identical. "When we designed this device, we had to ask ourselves what people want and need from a 10" Surface.
Microsoft Surface Go is equipped with 10-inch touch screen with a resolution of 1800 x 1200 pixels, and as his "heart" is the processor of Intel of Pentium Gold 4415Y (2 cores/4 threads, 1.6 GHz, HD Graphics 615) architecture Kaby Lake. This is stated to give you up to nine hours of battery when performing "the most critical tasks". There is no "smart" side on the perimeter, the dimensions of the touchpad increased - 101х56 mm. you can purchase It for $ 99 (2600 USD), and for the model with fabric surface will have to pay $ 129 (3400 UAH).
It's also not clear if the Surface Go comes with the new Surface Go Signature Type Cover and Surface Pen or if they're added extras like with the Surface Pro. It also has 3.5mm audio jack and a USB Type-C 3.1 port that can charge the tablet or transfer data to external devices. It's a little heavier than the Surface Go and measures up at almost a couple of inches longer, but that doesn't detract from it being a versatile, compact device.
Instead, the Surface Go is a niche product that should be labelled as a "hybrid" device, combining elements of laptops and tablets, the site says.
