As the #1 supplier of high-end processors and graphics to the gaming market, we are focused on how we can deliver products that power the ultimate gaming experiences.

Getting down to the specifications, the SoC features a 4-core/8-thread Ryzen (first-generation Zen) processor with a base clock of 3GHz. "Although offering less overall compute power, a 75MHz overclock on the Subor's Vega core will deliver the same 4.2 teraflops, assuming overclocking is available on the new part". We can see similarities of this chip with the Intel Kaby Lake-G processors but the graphics are on the same chip, rather the same die.

A 256-bit GDDR5 interface is also present and correct and keeps a watchful eye over 8GB of GDDR5 memory, which gets plonked into the motherboard next to the chip. Unlike the Intel solution that uses HBM2 on the same PCB, the GDDR5 chips are located on the board.

"The new SoC is also a great example of our semi-custom strategy, where we take our differentiated IP and tailor to meet the specific needs of a customer to create a product only AMD can deliver". Pricing of the PC is expected at 4998 Chinese Yuan which equals around $600-$700 US.
