Oren Uziel is attached to write the script, but there's not much more information in Deadline's Monday announcement that Supergirl is joining Warner Bros' DC Cinematic Universe. The infamous film performed poorly at the box office and received blistering reviews. While Tancharoen has gone on to work for high-profile comic book TV projects like Arrow and Agents of SHIELD, Uziel branched out into wider genres, doing scriptwork for 22 Jump Street and The Cloverfield Paradox. Fortunately, the December-scheduled, Jason Momoa-starring Aquaman solo movie looks promising in its trailer, and Warner is banking big with the November 2019-scheduled sequel, Wonder Woman 1984.
No producer or director has yet been tapped for this film, which is still on the drawing board according to Deadline.
That, however, is the part of this story where rumors take over, since the report goes into some loose talk about the purported goal of the new Supergirl movie. The character is now being played by Melissa Benoist on the CW and previously had a movie back in 1984 starring Helen Slater (who also guest stars on the CW show as Kara's adoptive mum). It has also been said WB was waiting to see if Fallout was going to be a success, which it is, to decide on resigning Cavill.

Red tide, dead fish plague tourists

West Hollywood City Council votes to remove Trump’s Walk of Fame star
According to The Hollywood Reporter , the council discussed the removal of the star at a meeting on Monday evening. But it is also the site of regular protests against his policies and has been vandalised a number of times.
Fans love Supergirl on the small screen, but now she may be jumping back onto the big screen.
Henry Cavill is also speculated to star as the new James Bond under none other than director Christopher Nolan so perhaps if WB doesn't feel he is worth it, Cavill could take or leave Superman as well. Because they're both from the same planet, Supergirl and Superman have a similar power set and the same vulnerability to Kryptonite.
