Michy Batshuayi

Batshuayi played 123 minutes for Belgium at the World Cup starting once- in the group match against England

It looked as though Batshuayi would be handed another chance to blossom at Stamford Bridge this season, as Alvaro Morata's poor form in front of goal continued throughout pre-season.

Batshuayi, who adopted the nickname "batman" during his loan spell at Borussia Dortmund last season, hinted his move to Spain was close by tweeting a bat emjoi next to an ellipsis on Friday afternoon.

Valencia have agreed a deal to sign Chelsea striker Michy Batshuayi on loan until the end of the season.

The Belgian was expected to get another shot at the redemption in London, after his time at Dortmund. Batshuayi also finished third in the World Cup with his national team and also scored a goal against Tunisia. And while the Blues have Olivier Giroud in their ranks, the World Cup victor himself is not in a great form.
