Returning Bonucci accepts Juventus jeers

After a wildly successful nine years at Real Madrid which yielded four Champions League titles, Cristiano Ronaldo made the move to Italian side Juventus in the summer, for around £90m.

Cristiano Ronaldo scored a goal in his first Juventus appearance as the first team defeated the B team, their under-20 squad, 5-0 in the club's annual friendly at the Agnelli family estate in rural Villar Perosa. "Thanks to all of the fans for their great support!"

Cristiano Ronaldo collects the ball from the goal in his first game for Juventus.

He was at both the 2017 Champions League final in Cardiff, when Ronaldo scored a brace as Real Madrid hammered Juve 4-1, and in Madrid last season when the Portuguese slotted the last-gasp penalty that knocked Juve out in the quarter finals.

Ronaldo proved good value for the hype, scoring in the 10th minute with a neat finish after breaking a loose offside trap and closing in on goal completely unmarked.

Vertonghen and Alli struck either side of Joselu's equaliser for the Magpies with all three goals coming in the first 18 minutes. Arrizabalaga 7, Azpilicueta 7, Rudiger 7, David Luiz 8, Alonso 6, Jorginho 8, Kante 8, Barkley 5, Willian 7, Pedro 8, Morata 5.

In a second speech, this time in the Black Sea city of Rize, Erdogan ruled out any change in the country's interest rates policy. But Mr Erdogan indicated he was in no mood to offer concessions to the United States, or financial markets. "I am asking you".

And in his first unofficial outing, he took just eight minutes to make the difference, latching on to a pass in behind the Primavera team's defence and emphatically firing past Leonardo Loria in goal.

"With the arrival of Ronaldo our expectations are higher for the Champions League".

With just a week to go until the Serie A season kicks off, Ronaldo will have wanted to work off the rustiness on the field, and he had the chance to do so against the Juve B-team.

That could mean Ronaldo gets even more up close and personal with Juve fans.

Juventus, though, have signed Ronaldo not to cement their domestic dominance, after winning seven straight league titles, but to boost their global profile and bag their first Champions League triumph in over two decades.
