The hobbling two-time NFL MVP threw three touchdown passes in the second half after returning from injury, and the Green Bay Packers overcame a 20-point deficit for a thrilling 24-23 win over the Chicago Bears on Sunday night.
Rodgers had be carted off in the first half after suffering a leg injury during a sack.
The Packers' defense, in new coordinator Mike Pettine's first game, held the Bears to two field goals in the second half.
This isn't to absolve the Bears' offense for not making plays as the Packers clawed back into this game.
Did you think arguably the NFL's best player wouldn't try to come back and lead his team to victory? The energy left the place, but when he came out after halftime there was a renewed hope. But the offense was stalled again on fourth down as a sack-fumble put an end to a nightmare game that started like a dream.
"[We went] exclusively with the no-huddle there in the second half and the two-minute drive; it was just priceless", McCarthy said.
While the difference on the scoreboard was one single point, the gap between the Bears and Green Bay Packers was as wide and evident as ever.
"(I was thinking) something special", he said.
Bmw Championship Faces Monday Finish Hopefully
Under tour rules, half the field must complete the final round by Monday for an event to extend into Tuesday. The Tour Championship was expected to be Spieth's 25 event, but now he'd fall short of reaching that mark.
Andrew Luck admits to snowboarding injury in 2016
Luck threw for 4,240 yards, 31 touchdowns and had a career-high completion percentage of 63.5 during that '16 campaign. Of course, the next year he suffered a posterior labrum tear that required surgery, which has sidelined him ever since.

The women's final is at the Arthur Ashe Stadium in NY at 4 p.m. local time. "I don't cheat to win, I'd rather lose". Open men's final, and Jimmy Connors famously called an official an abortion repeatedly during a U.S.
With that in mind, what transpired in Sunday night's game at Lambeau had the National Football League world on edge. Nagy, Mitch Trubisky and that group will have a lot of questions to answer and could've done more to at least avoid a string of three-and-outs that didn't give the defense much time to rest.
A Chicago defense featuring newly acquired star linebacker Khalil Mack dominated until the third quarter. His performance was worthy of the heavy price tag that came with his six-year, $141 million contract. But as he showed against the Packers, it was well worth it.
"Playing behind Brett Favre for three years, you realize you've got to be tough to play this position", Rodgers said.
It was night and day between the first- and second-half offenses of both teams.
"You want to win", Mack said. Add that knee injury to the mix and things did not look good for the Packers.
Two plays later, on third and 10 with no timeouts and the two-minute warning fast approaching, Rodgers found Cobb for that 75-yard game-winning touchdown.
Trubisky made a valiant effort, going 23-of-35 passing for 171 yards. The Packers went field goal, touchdown, touchdown, touchdown before running out the clock.
He moved in and out of the pocket and escaped the wrath of the Packers' defense to extend drives in the first half.
