Ariana Grande and Pete Davidson have reportedly broken up, according to TMZ.

"It simply wasn't the right time for their relationship to take off", sources told TMZ. The two still have love for each other, but are done romantically.

As previously reported, The "Saturday Night Live" star was the first to confirm that he was engaged to the "God is a Woman" singer after dropping almost $100,000 on a ring.

The Florida born performer was also left shattered from the recent death of her former boyfriend Mac Miller.

Ariana and Pete started dating in mid-May and were engaged in June.

According to TMZ, the pair made a decision to separate over the weekend. And now, a source close to People's magazine has said that they have indeed broke up and it is not shocking to anyone.

Ariana's manager Scooter Braun reportedly told the audience that Grande needed time to "heal".

Both had been expressive of their affection for one another on social media.
