Top seed Karolina Pliskova produced a ruthless display as she raced past Switzerland's Timea Bacsinszky 6-2 6-1 to reach the Tianjin Open final on Saturday.
It marks the first final for Garcia since winning back-to-back titles a year ago at Wuhan and Beijin.
In the final she will play Italian fifth seed Camila Giorgi, who was a 6-3 6-4 victor over Alison van Uytvanck.

"It's very nice for me to win a title again, because the emotion and the feeling after the match point is something very special and very hard to describe", Garcia told reporters after the match.
