YouTube possibly headed to the Nintendo Switch November 8th

Rumor: YouTube Could Be Coming to Nintendo Switch Very Soon

Nintendo Switch is getting a YouTube app this week – report

That's apparently changing. Multiple Switch owners say that Nintendo's let the cat out of the bag a little early, with the Nintendo of America website itself apparently recommending the YouTube app...that doesn't yet exist. While Japanese users have access to the Japan-only site Niconico, YouTube has been nothing but a far-off dream for some time now. Non-availability of any other app, except Hulu meant that the Nintendo user has to carry more gadgets when on a long trip or a strictly no work vacation.

Nintendo Switch is going just fine with its games, but its video streaming is support is quite not yet enough to fulfill the entertainment needs of its users.

Despite the Switch being a smash hit for Nintendo, there are still some features that are surprisingly absent from the console. There is no official word from YouTube or Nintendo on this issue but it looks like that it most certainly will be coming.

California wildfires turn deadly as thousands evacuate homes
The fire has reached 65 percent containment and evacuation orders are being lifted, according to the agency. Pieces of bodies were transported by bucket, while intact remains were carried in body bags.

The good news is that if you only want to watch YouTube videos on your Nintendo Switch, there's no need to use the unofficial browser. French-language website NintendHOME reports seeing YouTube app suggestions when scouring Nintendo's website for new games. We'll be sure to update you if the app does become available on that date. We'll have to wait and see what happens on November 8, this coming Thursday.

This comes as we're expecting the console to get a Netflix app sometime within the next few months, too. That being said, both of those consoles also have Netflix, which the Switch still doesn't have for unexplained reasons.
