That's apparently changing. Multiple Switch owners say that Nintendo's let the cat out of the bag a little early, with the Nintendo of America website itself apparently recommending the YouTube app...that doesn't yet exist. While Japanese users have access to the Japan-only site Niconico, YouTube has been nothing but a far-off dream for some time now. French-language website NintendHOME reports seeing YouTube app suggestions when scouring Nintendo's website for new games. We'll be sure to update you if the app does become available on that date. We'll have to wait and see what happens on November 8, this coming Thursday.
This comes as we're expecting the console to get a Netflix app sometime within the next few months, too. That being said, both of those consoles also have Netflix, which the Switch still doesn't have for unexplained reasons.
