If playing Forza 4 Horizon, Red Dead Redemption 2 or Fallout 76 wasn't enough to fill your gaming docket for the next couple of months, Xbox gamers can now sign up to be a part of EA's new open world shooter game.

I have detailed instructions for you on how to sign up for the tests below. There will likely be other similar events for you to participate in prior to the official launch in February.

Alpha access registration is open to all, and not tied to pre-orders of the game or EA Access/Origin Access membership.

At any rate, the requirements now stand at a minimum of an Intel Core i5 3570 or AMD FX-6350 processor, with at least 8GB of system RAM, and on the video card front, you'll need to be running an Nvidia GeForce GTX 970 (4GB) or an AMD Radeon R9 390 (8GB) or better.

Sign in with your EA Account. Once your choices are completed, click Submit.

PlayStation Plus and Xbox Live Gold are also required if you want to take part in the testing sessions on PS4 or Xbox One respectively.

Don't worry, though, you'll have plenty more pre-release Anthem time when the expected BETA rolls out at some point next year, possibly sooner.
