The Game Awards was created in 2014 by media entrepreneur Geoff Keighley. MP1st will also have the show's announcements and reveals right here as it happens.

We can definitely expect more announcements, however, so check out 5 predictions of what else we'll see.

The Game Awards airs online starting at 8:30 p.m. EST on Thursday, Dec. 6.

The Game Awards are coming, promising not only a celebration of the last year in video games, but also a slew of new announcements for the coming year and beyond.

The awards show, held annually in December, celebrates both game creators and game players, and gives fans a sneak preview of games set to be released in the future. Many of us are looking forward to a rumored Crash Team Racing remaster as well.

Keighley teased on Twitter, in another tweet, that the Creative Mode was just "part 1 of the story" for Fortnite, and that Epic Games Worldwide Creative Director Donald Mustard is a 'mad scientist'.

We know Fallout: New Vegas developer Obisidan is working on a new RPG, and it looks like we might finally get a glimpse of it at The Game Awards 2018. The Game Awards will be streamed in 4K.
