As with Activision's other retro re-skins, the stages themselves appear to be like for like with the original, but are layered upon with a massively improved level of detail that breathe new life into the game. The game is the fourth installment in the Crash Bandicoot series and focuses on the story of Crash Bandicoot and friends racing against the extraterrestrial villain Nitros Oxide, who seeks to turn all of the planet into a parking lot.
