Xiaomi has finally unveiled a new Poco in India on Christmas Eve.
Poco launched the Armoured Edition of Poco F1 back in August. In the previous month, rumors started swirling that the 64 GB and 128 GB editions of the Poco F1 will be also available in Kevlar back enabled Armoured Editions. The Armoured Edition of the 8 GB RAM + 256 GB storage model is priced at Rs. 29,999. Earlier, the Poco F1 Armoured Edition was available only in a single variant with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage, but going forward, it will be available in two variants.

Chinese smartphone maker Xiaomi has launched a new variant of its Poco F1 smartphone today. That day is here, and the new Poco F1 Armoured Edition variant is the announcement.
The Poco F1 Armoured Edition price in India has been set at Rs. 23,999 for 6GB RAM and 128GB storage configuration. At the launch event, the company touted the Kevlar back used on the Armoured Edition is way more durable than the glass, but the sad part is it doesn't look as good as glass smartphones. But as promised by the company all variants of the Poco F1 have been upgraded to MIUI 10 based Android 9 Pie. As for the specs, the Poco F1 sports 6.18-inch FHD+ IPS LCD display with a 1080x2246 pixel resolution and aspect ratio of 18.7:9. This is the first Snapdragon 845 phone to be available under Rs 20,000 in India. The mobile phone has a dual camera setup with a 12 MP primary sensor with an f/1.9 aperture and a 5 MP depth camera. In case you're not aware, Poco F1 is the cheapest flagship smartphone with the Snapdragon 845 processor. On the front, the Poco F1 includes a 20-megapixel selfie shooter paired with soft LED flash and AI features. So, it is expected that the company will either will bring the successor that could debut as the Poco F2 or a new variant of Poco F1. Besides, there is a 4,000mAh battery that supports 18W charging and Quick Charge 3.
