This isn't surprising for HMD Global, as the company did the same thing with the Nokia 8 Sirocco about a year ago. We first saw this layout back in November 2018. HMD Global is expected to launch the new phone at the end of January 2019. It sure looks like it to a little extent, based on what's supposed to be a new press render of the Nokia 9 PureView. But it turns out there's also a promo video making the rounds, which mentions the Nokia 9's main specs as well as some of its camera tricks. The major change on the Nokia 9 PureView is the removal of the rear-mounted fingerprint scanner and inclusion of penta-lens camera setup. Today, a new promo video (below) obtained by MySmartPrice has unveiled the internal specifications. The picture shows the phone not just from the back side but also reveal the front design.

Perhaps the biggest highlight of the Nokia 9 PureView will be its camera. The camera will take five simultaneous shots and up to 10 times more light. It features detailed renders that once again show a hexagonal, rear-camera layout with five lenses, a flash, and a yet-unknown sixth sensor that could allow the phone to shoot pics using all five cams at once.

Below the camera setup and the Nokia branding, the phone has an Android One logo, which means the handset will offer a stock Android experience alongside three years of monthly security updates. That could indicate an in-display fingerprint sensor on the field. However, unlike the Nokia 7.1, there doesn't seem to be any sort of notch, or even a real attempt to implement a full, bezel-less design like a lot of other modern handsets, which is actually kind of refreshing.
