The video of the moment circulating on social media had many people convinced that she did indeed slam the GLOW star, but once she became aware of the controversy, Metz took to Twitter to defend herself.

In response to other outlets speculating on the drama, Metz tweeted that the conflict was entirely fabricated and that she adores Brie. "I know you. It's just a rumour", she allegedly replied.

"Do I?" Metz began in an exaggerated tone before the visual cut to Brie, though they continued to play the audio of Metz who began to say, "She's such a b".

Brie has yet to respond. Speaking with Us Weekly during the Golden Globes on Sunday, Jan. 7, 2019, Metz said, "It's unfortunate people want to say stuff that they don't know is true or not".

Other news outlets also reported that Metz used a curse word to describe Brie.

Bears DC Vic Fangio to become Broncos head coach
The Broncos fired former coach Vance Joseph on December 31 after he posted 5-11 and 6-10 records in his two seasons at the helm. The Bears have improved each season under Fangio. "I feel like the Bears definitely got a defense that can go all the way".

"I don't speak about anyone like that I don't speak like that. I mean, I know the truth", Metz went on. "'I know her. I saw her on the carpet and I told her how lovely she looked'". "'I know her. I saw her on the carpet and I told her how attractive she looked'".

"Chrissy has nothing but admiration and respect for Alison and, frankly, every fellow actor who must wade through this much-too-common attempt to create a feud among colleagues", her rep, Cheryl McLean, told USA Today in a statement. "Alison and I obviously are friends. She then referred to Alison as a "babe" and the fun exchange ended". "I would never say anything like that about anyone".

She added, "Rumours can't keep us down".

Even before the host cleared the air, Alison took to her Instagram Story to make it clear that she did not believe the "rumors" about Chrissy's alleged b-word comment. And, if you listen to the footage, it does sound like that's just what Metz said.
