Activists and reporters have for years tried to bring light to Kelly's alleged actions. A source told the gossip site that Africa has been mentioned as one of the places he may seek solace.

While promoting his new album and documentary The WIZRD on Power 106's "The Cruz Show" this week, Future was asked what he thinks of the embattled singer in the wake of Lifetime's "Surviving R. Kelly" docuseries.

TMZ.com reports prosecutors in Fulton County, Georgia have been reaching out to several people who participated in the program including Asante McGee, who allegedly escaped from R. Kelly's home. It's unclear if the caller was just pranking Kelly, or if the person really thought there was an arrest warrant ... but cops tell us they routinely respond to such calls ... just to make sure.

Joycelyn Savage has denied that she is being held without against her will by R. Kelly.

The New York Times reports that investigators from the Fulton County District Attorney's Office in Georgia contacted Gerald A. Griggs, the lawyer for Timothy and Jonjelyn Savage, on Monday.
