Several inches of snow will be possible for these areas.

"2-3" should fall north with 3-5" over a good chunk of the area & 5-7" in the far southwest & south on the edge of the Winter Storm Watch area. Numbers on expected total will be firmed up on Friday, as we are still 48 hours out from arrival.

Temperatures are expected to remain cold through the weekend.

No weather watches or warning were in effect Thursday for IL north of Bloomington. The Palmer Divide and neighborhoods on the west side of town could see around 3 to 6 inches of snow.
