India vs Australia ODIs

The "red ball boys" are still savouring the sweet aftertaste of a maiden Test series win in Australia but for the "white ball specialists", including veteran MS Dhoni, it was business as usual as they hit the straps at SCG on Wednesday.

Rohit Sharma also heaped praise on Mahendra Singh Dhoni saying that over the years, he has proved how vital his presence is in the dressing room and on the field. "With him being around, there is a sense of calmness in the group, which is very important, and also a bit of help to the captain because he stands behind the stumps", Rohit said ahead of the first ODI against Australia on Saturday. As of now, the 2011 World Cup winning captain is preparing for the ODI series against Australia.

According to the Mumbai batsman who has over 7,000 runs in the 50-overs format with 21 hundreds and scores at an average of 47 plus, there could be one or two changes in the India squad that will take on Australia in the three ODIs and New Zealand next in a five-ODI series, depending on poor form and injury.

He has not played a lot of matches and it is a cause of worry for India, especially considering that he is likely to join the squad for the 2019 World Cup which is scheduled to be held in England later this year.

Huge: Chelsea Dismiss Opening Barcelona Bid But Sarri Willing To Negotiate
Willian is in his 30's and has not been in the best of form under new manager Maurizio Sarri . But, Chelsea have swiftly rejected Barcelona's offer for a couple of reasons.

"It's still enough time to get it right and make sure, come that World Cup, that we are ready to go with a really balanced and settled side", Finch said of the current series and five more ODIs in India in March. "We as the Indian cricket team and responsible cricketers don't align with those views, those were individual opinions". He's finished so many games for us. But I don't see any drastic change in the squad.

"So for him being around with the team always is helpful and he's like a guiding light around the group".

"'I think he has played a massive role even since the time he has left the captaincy". And one of the reasons for that is MS and how he has guided these two guys in the middle about how to keep things tight and field placements.
