In the optics department, the device sports a 48MP rear camera but due to its Quad-bayer filter, it's better used for outputting 12MP images with a 1,6 µm pixel and real-time HDR.

Moreover, the leaked poster also showcases the phone's front and back designs. The Redmi Note 7 features a 6.3-inch FHD+ display with a 19.5:9 aspect ratio with a waterdrop styled notch on top. It is powered by octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 AIE processor with Adreno 512 GPU. In terms of connectivity, the Redmi Note 7 offers 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, IR Blaster, 3.5mm audio jack, and a USB Type-C port.
