Democratic Senator Elizabeth Warren, who has officially launched her 2020 presidential campaign, said that President Donald Trump might be unable to finish his term by the time Election Day comes next year.
"Every day, there's a racist tweet, a hateful tweet, something really dark and ugly", Warren said of Trump.
The Trump campaign responded to Warren's claims in a Sunday statement, mocking her over the release of her DNA test results, which she recently apologized for amid backlash from the Cherokee Nation and liberal activists.
U.S. Sen. Kamala Harris of California also is expected to make her second campaign appearance in SC this weekend.
"Should I be our nominee and Trump also be the nominee - I'm not sure if he will be - but if he is the nominee, you will see the toughest, strongest person standing against him", Booker said.
Warren cited the ongoing investigations into Trump, saying: "It's no longer just the Mueller investigation, they're everywhere".

Leeds winger Jack Clarke released from hospital after falling ill
Leeds United's teenage winger Jack Clarke remains "under observation" after falling unwell on Saturday, says boss Marcelo Bielsa. Marcelo Bielsa's side are now second in the table, trailing Norwich City by two points.
Warren herself may "not be a free person" soon.
Warren's campaign did not inform reporters that she would be attending or speaking at the Tuesday luncheon, instead sharing her prepared remarks - which an aide said she did not deviate from - after the event.
He tweeted: "Today Elizabeth Warren, sometimes referred to by me as Pocahontas, joined the race for President".
Warren formally launched her White House bid Saturday in MA, grounding her campaign in the populist calls to combat economic inequality that have long made her a favourite of liberals. Yeah. Donald Trump is the symptom of a badly broken system.
The senator highlighted several areas where she said Congress must take action, including addressing the rising number of missing and murdered indigenous women and girls; rising suicide rates among Native Americans; as well as resources for housing, health care and addiction treatment.
Trump has often derided the partisan, politically-motivated investigations being led by House Democrats as wasteful and interfering with the administration's ability to govern.
