Browns running back Kareem Hunt has been suspended for eight games by the NFL for violating the NFL Personal Conduct Policy in connection with physical altercations in Cleveland in February 2018 and at an OH resort in June 2018, Browns officials confirmed in a news release Friday morning. He was placed on the commissioner exempt list on November 30 and was released by the Kansas City Chiefs. The Browns signed Hunt to a one-year contract in February after general manager John Dorsey ― who drafted Hunt as GM of the Chiefs ― and owner Jimmy Haslam reviewed the situation and discussed appropriate steps toward contrition with Hunt. Hunt, now with the Cleveland Browns, has been fully cooperative in the investigation and accepts the NFL's ruling without appeal. Police investigated but the woman did not file charges against Hunt. I respect the league's decision on discipline, and I appreciate the time I spent with Commissioner Goodell last week. "I know that my behavior hurt a lot of people, and I again apologize to them".
The league said Hunt has told them he's committed to "available resources" and he has pledged to live up his obligations. The NFL has announced an eight-game suspension of the newly acquired Cleveland Browns running back.
Hunt will be allowed to practice with the Browns through training camp until the suspension begins August 31 after the final roster reduction.
Now reports have confirmed that Hunt has been removed from the Madden '19 video game as a result of this recent information.Читайте также: Beta version of Call Screen available now for select Canadian Pixel devices
The NFL issued a statement Friday morning indicating the 23-year-old will miss the first eight games of the upcoming season and will forfeit $303,529 of his $645,000 base salary. They will have options and control the running back's future beyond these nine weeks he will eligible to play next season (not including at least one home playoff game; there, I wrote it).
Now it might be Baker Mayfield who ends up with the last laugh. In January 2017, a man alleged that Hunt and a teammate assaulted him in a Kansas City nightclub. He is scheduled to be a restricted free agent in March 2019. He will be entering his third National Football League season.
Before that, he was on pace to match or beat his 1327 rushing yards and had seven rushing touchdowns to go along with seven receiving touchdowns before being released.При любом использовании материалов сайта и дочерних проектов, гиперссылка на обязательна.
