Perez then seemingly fuelled speculation the club could make Mbappe their marquee signing in the next transfer window when he joked about the manager's nationality possibly being an aid in any attempt to secure the striker's signature.

Mbappe has previously downplayed a move away from PSG in the near future, though has not ruled out an eventual shift to the Spanish capital.

However, when asked who he would choose between the two PSG stars, Perez instead answered "Both".

However, when pressed to elaborate on the potential of Mbappe joining Real, Perez instead responded: "Right now, all we are concerned with is ending the season well and start preparing for next season".

Hazard is out of contract at Stamford Bridge next year and has offered no indication that he is going to sign an extension, leaving Chelsea will little choice but to cash in for a nine-figure fee.

Hazard has long-since been linked with a move to Madrid and the return of Zinedine Zidane as head coach has exacerbated rumours of a close-season move.

After a torrid season that began with the ill-fated spell of Julen Lopetegui and recently spiralled out of control under Santiago Solari, Real announced that Zidane would be returning to the Bernabeu on a new three-year deal, ten months after he announced his resignation.

"Zidane is a known admirer of Eden Hazard and he looks nearly certain to make a move for the Belgian this summer, with it just 4/7 that he makes the Chelsea forward his first summer signing". The rumours linking Hazard with a move to Real Madrid have refused to go away, especially with the Belgian global set to enter the final year of his contract with the Blues.
