This is a typical OnePlus move wherein the company's marketing team builds up the hype for its upcoming devices. According to a new leak, the real OnePlus 7 will probably look nearly exactly like the OnePlus 6T, and that other phone will be the OnePlus 7 Pro. Looks like we won't have to wait long. OnePlus CEO Pete Lau confirmed during an interview at MWC 2019 that the next OnePlus won't have wireless charging. Lau doesn't specifically mention OnePlus 7, but all hints point towards the new "flagship killer".
OnePlus is expected to announce its latest smartphone in the coming weeks, but it might actually announce more than one for the first time.
Sources also say it'll feature a pop-up front-facing camera, a triple array rear camera with a 48-megapixel primary shooter, stereo speakers, a 4,000mAh battery and USB 3.1 connectivity. The company chief briefly addressed the topic during his address at the European Institute of Design in Milan last week.
This goes to mean that the public have nothing left to do but keep watching out for the launch date of OnePlus 7 on Wednesday. Based on the leaks, the OnePlus 7 will look similar to the OnePlus 6T with minimal changes to dual camera setup on the rear. According to earlier leak: #GoBeyondSpeed!
For the first time, it is likely that the company would launch a Pro variant of its flagship device called OnePlus 7 Pro.

Then there will be the OnePlus 7 Pro, with a larger, 6.64-inch display that's curved, a pop-up selfie camera, and a triple-camera setup with a main 48MP shooter, a telephoto, and an ultra-wide-angle lens. In terms of camera, the back will carry three cameras of 48 MP, 20 MP and 5 MP, where the 48 MP camera can support Optical Image Stabilization and Auto Focus while the 5 MP camera is a depth sensor. According to them, the OnePlus 7 Pro will sport a Quad HD+ Super AMOLED display with a high refresh rate of 90Hz. The secondary is unknown, but it's probably just for depth sensing like recent OnePlus phones.
It will be interesting to see what Lau has in mind.
