Actor Felicity Huffman has pleaded guilty to paying $15,000 to rig her daughter's SAT score in a USA college admissions scheme that involved wealthy parents and athletic coaches at some of the country's top schools. She is accused of giving a $15,000 charitable contribution for her oldest daughter to get special treatment for her SAT exam, which allowed Huffman's daughter twice the amount of time to finish the test and for the paid proctor to correct the exam's wrong answers. "I am in full acceptance of my guilt, and with deep regret and shame over what I have done, I accept full responsibility for my actions and will accept the consequences that stem from those actions".

Federal prosecutors recommended a four-month prison sentence, a $20,000 fine and 12 months of supervised release.

Felicity Huffman Macy just walked into a Boston courtroom Monday morning, apparently to make things official: she's pleading guilty to her role in the college admissions scandal. "My desire to help my daughter is no excuse to break the law or engage in dishonesty", Huffman said.

Loughlin has pleaded not guilty to charges that she and her husband agreed with Singer to pay $500,000 to have their two daughters named as recruits to USC's crew team, even though they did not row. Prosecutors have said the investigation is ongoing. Wealthy parents paid $25 million to bribe coaches to help their children gain spots at universities like Yale, Georgetown and the University of Southern California.

Huffman, 56, paid $15,000 to admissions consultant William "Rick" Singer and his nonprofit organization, Key Worldwide Foundation ("KWF"), which prosecutors said was actually a front for accepting bribes.

According to TMZ, Loughlin's husband Mossimo Giannulli was arrested and she plans to turn herself in when she returns to L.A.

The charges include conspiracy to commit mail fraud and honest services mail fraud, while the scam reportedly involved money sent to a California businessman who promised to get applicants into the colleges of their choice.
