Futerfas, and Abbe D. Lowell, all of whom took part in a joint defense agreement to provide coordinated responses to questions from Congress and the Justice Department during the Russian Federation probe. Trump Jr.'s legal team also complained that, in its view, the committee refused to negotiate the scope or time limit of the testimony.
CNN reported that Trump Jr. and Burr have been negotiating about his further testimony for the committee for months, but the legal team for the president's son has objected to the scope of the questioning, which encompasses various issues in connection with the Russian Federation investigation.
The debate over another round of testimony comes at a time when tensions are inflamed between President Trump and Capitol Hill over executive privilege - though most of that has centered on information the Democratic-controlled House is trying to obtain.
