Two children are dead after a truck rear-ended an Amish horse drawn carriage.
Michigan State Police say it happened in Algansee Township in Branch County sometime Friday. Michigan State Police told WXMI a 4-year old later died at the hospital from their injuries.
Two adults and five children were ejected from the carriage.
A four year old sustained life-threatening injuries, while a three year old also suffered major injuries.

The pickup truck driver was intoxicated during the incident, and is being held at a local jail, ABC News reported.
