Destroy All Humans! Remake Announced For 2020 Release

Last month we revealed THQ Nordic was preparing to announce two new games during E3, with all signs pointing towards a Destroy All Humans! reboot.

IGN gave the original Destroy All Humans!, which was created by the now-defunct developer Pandemic Studios, a 7 out of 10. Together with a Furon called Pox-13, he needs to harvest human DNA and use it to bring down the U.S. government. Destroy All Humans! is scheduled to release sometime in 2020, so if you have a PC, a PlayStation 4, or an Xbox One, you might want to keep this potential gem on your radar.

THQ Nordic is bringing Destroy All Humans back for modern consoles with a swanky remaster. Well, one alien to be precise: Crypto 137, Warrior of the Furon Empire, has arrived to save his people by ... uhm ... extracting DNA from brains. Annihilate puny humans using an assortment of alien weaponry and psychic abilities, and reduce their cities to rubble with your Flying Saucer. The protagonist of the game is an alien whose goal is to destroy humans and, to do so, he will have to deal with a unsafe secret organization.

The remake will also include the "much-rumoured, never before seen" lost mission of Area 42. Taking reference from every stereotype about aliens such as anal probing, abducting cows, and mind control.
