Huawei's consumer business has been dealt a potentially devastating blow to its future prospects after USA president Donald Trump formally added the vendor to a list of companies that American companies can not trade with if they don't obtain a license. In the email, the smartphone maker has pointed out that its own app store is on 350 million smartphones that the company has shipped over the course of the past two years.

According to the sources, Google believes a Huawei-modified version of Android would be more susceptible to being hacked. Huawei certainly doesn't have the money that Samsung has, but it may not need it if its determination proves fierce enough.
