Earlier this week, Sigourney Weaver revealed that she would be reprising the role of Dana Barrett in Jason Reitman's upcoming Ghostbusters sequel, which is tentatively titled Ghostbusters 3. So far, little is known about Reitman's film aside from the cast, which includes Carrie Coon (whose presence in anything guarantees I will watch it), Finn Wolfhard, and McKenna Grace.

The event was a collaboration between Wizard World and Ghost Corps, Ivan Reitman and Dan Aykroyd's production company that oversees the Ghostbusters brand and expansion. "We wanted to make a love letter to the original movie", Reitman said. "My father is greatest storyteller I know, and made movies that defined my childhood, so the idea of being a director myself was a very scary decision". "And I knew this was a movie I needed to write and I reached out to my writing parter Gil Kenan, and we sat down and started writing this movie".
