The first trailer for Square Enix's hotly-anticipated Marvel's Avengers video game has left fans of the MCU scratching their heads. Though, we didn't actually see any gameplay in the trailer to know exactly how you will control the characters.
When a new threat faces the planet years later, the heroes must reassemble, with players leading the way in both single-player and multiplayer modes.
The looks appropriately Avengers-y, with Hulk, Iron Man, Thor, Black Widow, and Captain America all proudly featured. A showcase later this week will feature the developers from Crystal Dynamics and the Marvel Games creative team talking about the game. Marvel's Avengers will be heading to Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC on 15th May 2020.
The game begins on Avengers Day, day where the Avengers are celebrated.

Not everyone was so negative however, with some optimistic that the gameplay could be as a fun as Marvel's Spider-Man, the successful PS4 exclusive which also had it's own actor, but with engaging mechanics and an intriguing story. Every new hero added will be free, and there will be no loot boxes.
Marvel's Avengers was originally teased under the name of The Avengers Project back in January 2017.
Those who pre-order Marvel's Avengers on PS4 will get early beta access at a date to be determined.
